DEATH PENALTY. EXTRAORDINARY PARTICIPATION FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD

June 15, 2007: 52 Nobel Prizes have already joined the Transnational Radical Party and Hand Off Cain in their plea to the Italian Government to immediately present the resolution for the universal moratorium on capital executions to the current UN General Assembly. Amongst the Nobel Prizes are: The Dalai Lama, South African Desmond Tutu, Iranian lawyer Shirin Ebadi,  Polish Lech Walesa,  Kenyan Wangari Maathai,  American Jody Willimas and Irish John Hume,  Mairead Corrigan Maguire and Betty Williams. Amongst the Italians: Dario Fo and Rita Levi Montalcini. Amongst the hundreds of international names, we report, amongst others, former Prime Ministers such as:  Inder Kumar Gujral, India, Moustapha Niasse, Senegal, Michel Rocard, France and Majco Pandeli, Albania and former Ministers and Government representatives such as Robert Badinter, Minister of Justice and President of the Supreme Court – France, Bronislav Geremek, Minister of Foreign Affairs – Poland, Catherine Trautmann, Minister of Culture – France, Daniel Ducarme Minister of Culture – Belgium, Ovidiu Silanghi, Minister of Commerce – Romania.
Amongst the hundreds of parliamentarians: Martin Shulz, President of the Socialist Group at the European Parliament, Daniel Cohn-Bendit Co-President of the Green Group at the European Parliament, Pasqualina Napoletano, Vice

Amongst the Italians: Life Senators: Rita Levi Montalcini, Giulio Andreotti, Emilio Colombo, Sergio Pininfarina, Oscar Luigi Scalfaro and Francesco Cossiga. Also noteworthy is the extraordinary and usual participation of the Presidents of all Parliamentarian Groups within the House (including President Maroni) and the Senate (except President Castelli).
