PAKISTAN: SON CONVICTED TO DEATH SENTENCE FOR KILLING PARENTS IN DUKKI BALOCHISTAN

October 3, 2022:

A court in Balochistan’s Dukki district convicted a son of the death sentence for killing his parents, Quetta Voice reported on 30 September 2022.
Additional session Judge Dukki, Muhammad Umar Khokar sentenced the accused to the death sentence after being found guilty of the crime of the murder of his parents.
A pistol was also recovered from the accused due to which he will be sentenced to five years in prison extra.
According to the prosecution the accused Muhammad Usman had killed his father Baz Muhammad and mother Zardana Bibi by opening fire in the Killi Sadozai Forest area of Luni. This incident occurred last year on 19 July 2021.
After the incident, the complainant, Muhammad Yaqoob, who is the brother of the accused, and the Levies Force filed a case number against the accused. Muhammad Yaqoob filed the case in the Manzai police station and levies presented the challan in court.
Muhammad Usman was sentenced to death after being found guilty of double murder. After the sentence was pronounced, the accused was shifted to jail.
