EGYPT: EXECUTION OF THE DEATH SENTENCE OF A COPTIC SLAUGHTER IN ALEXANDRIA

Toni Youssef, the son of the Coptic dead owner of the Roastery in Alexandria, confirmed the execution of his father's murderer, Adel Abdel-Nour, and called "Asaliyah", The Egyptians reported on 31 December 2018.
Asaliyah was convicted of slaughtering Yusuf Lami, owner of a roaster in Khaled Bin Al Waleed area, east of Alexandria, in protest against the sale of alcohol.
The son of the owner of the roaster published a post on the social networking site "Facebook", in which he said that the administration of prison Borg al-Arab carried out the death sentence in the accused of killing his father.
According to press reports of the son of the victim, the family of the accused of killing his father, received his body from the morgue of Kom Dokka after the execution.
He thanked the judiciary and the Egyptian police for the swift execution of his father's death just two years after the incident.
There has been no official statement from the Ministry of Interior to date carrying out the death sentence on the accused to kill the owner of the roaster.
