FOUR EXECUTED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING IN SOUTH CHINA

four people were executed for drug trafficking in Yulin, a city in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Chen Lizhen was one of four people convicted of trafficking 65 kilograms of heroin from neighbouring Yunnan province, the regional higher people's court was told. Yunnan borders the "Golden Triangle", one of the world's biggest drug-producing areas. Thirteen others in the family drug trafficking ring received sentences ranging from death with two years reprieve to two years imprisonment, according to the court. Thirteen of the defendants are relatives. They are couples, brothers or sisters, said the court.
