Four prisoners executed In Urmia on December 31, 2021
According to the report received by Hengaw, four Kurdish prisoners, all harged with homicide, were executed in the central prison of Urmia. The names of the execution victims were Moghadam Alizade (Moghaddam Alizadeh), Hossen Abbasi Zade (Hossein Abbaszadeh), Hamdullah Alami (Hamdollah Alemi) and Fayzullah Ghorbani (Feizollah Ghorbani) from Salmas, Urmia and Khoy.
On 29 December, the four prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement along with another prisoner, Rashid Vatandoust.
On 30 December, Vatandust was returned to the prison ward after his family was given a time of several months to pay the “blood money” to the victim’s family.
