Three prisoners were executed at Isfahan central prison on April 22. According to IHR sources, three executions were carried out on Wednesday, April 22, at Isfahan central prison. Ali Sheikhani had been sentenced to death on the charge of rape. Mojtaba Haeri and Jamal Jafari-Nasab had been sentenced to qisas (retribution in-kind) for murder charges. The hanging of Ali Sheikhani had already been reported by Iran-hrm (see Hands off Cain 22/04/2020).
