Mohammed Hossein Kahrari executed in Arak prison on August 31.
On Wednesday, August 31, 2022 a prisoner named Mohammed Hossein Kahrari, 27 years old, from Harsin, Kermanshah, was executed in Arak prison for drug charges. According to an informed source, Kehrari was arrested and sentenced to death in Arak on drug charges in early 2019.
The Osaka District Court on April 15, 2024 dismissed a lawsuit by death row inmates that claimed same-day notifications of executions violate the Constitution — the first ruling of its kind.
