An unidentified prisoner was reportedly hanged at Semnan Prison (northern Iran) on drug related charges.
According to a report by the Iranian state-run news agency, Rokna, the execution was carried out in the morning for the charge of trafficking 897 grams of crystal meth. The report claims the prisoner was 21 years old, but does not specify whether this was the age of the prisoner at the time of arrest or execution.
