Al Shabaab militants in Lower Shabelle on 22 December 2020 publicly executed by firing squad a man for murder.
The 47-year-old man was executed after he was accused of killing another man identified as Maalim Aweys Arbow.
The men was convicted by militant court, according to Al-Shabaab affiliate media sites.
Lower Shabelle is an administrative region in southern Somalia.
