Three men recently sentenced to death by the Puntland High Court in Bossaso were shortly executed in a public field, Radio Dalsan reported on 14 June 2020.
The three were held for some time at a Bossaso prison after they were caught by armed forces in armed combat in the Bari region while fighting Puntland forces and were accused of being members of the outlawed Al-Shabaab terror network.
The three were named by the Puntland High Court in Bossaso as Bishar Mohamed Hassan, Abdihakim Mohamed Farah and Mohamed Hassan Bare. Puntland is currently engaged in conflict with Al-Shabaab and ISIS fighters in its regions.
