Bucks County Common Pleas Court Judge Alan M. Rubenstein formally sentenced Alfonso (Alfonzo) Sanchez to death for murdering Lisa Diaz, 27, and to life in prison for murdering Mendez Thomas, 22. He followed an Oct. 3 (see) jury’s recommendation in the October 2007 murders.(Source: AP, 22/10/2008)
