The annual Report. Each year, since 1998, Hands off Cain publishes a Report on the death penalty world-wide in English and Italian. In 2004 also the Spanish version was printed. This is the first publication to provide, country by country, an annual update on the most dramatic cases concerning the application of the death penalty and on the changes made in laws, constitutions and Supreme Courts with regard to abolition. The Report, available in English and Italian, also documents the steps taken internationally towards the abolition of the death penalty, and has proved to be a vital tool for the abolitionist lobby at the United Nations. Daily e-newsletter. Hands Off Cain has been providing this service since March 2002 to around 2,000 registered users interested in being informed of the death penalty situation worldwide and in promoting or supporting political initiatives for abolition and moratorium. The newsletter provides short news items concerning the most important events of the day on the subject complete with pictures of the protagonists. To receive this service, signing-up for it on our website is all that is required. Readers can choose between English, Italian and Spanish language versions.
 
Weekly e-newsletter. This service reaches 50,000 users interested in being informed of the death penalty situation worldwide and in promoting or supporting political initiatives for abolition and moratorium. The newsletter carries the five most significant events that take place during the week. The service has been available since March 2001. New users can sign-up for it through adhering to our appeal for a moratorium on executions at www.handsoffcain.org and www.arte.it/caino. English, Italian and Spanish language versions are available.
