A convicted drug trafficker, identified only by his initials A.A., was executed in a prison in the town of Shirvan in northeast Iran, ISNA news agency reported.
The People's Court of Dak Lak Province on April 21, 2026 sentenced a 38-year-old man to death for murder, robbery, and illegal use of military weapons after convicting him of killing his wife and two of his in-laws at the first-instance trial.
