China's Supreme People's Court revealed that a man found guilty of murdering 15 people in an SUV collision was put to death on 29 January 2019 in central China's Hunan Province.
Yang Zanyun deliberately rammed his Land Rover SUV into a group of people in a square in Hengdong County in the city of Hengyang on Sept. 12, 2018, then he resumed his attack with a shovel and knife.
Fifteen people have been killed as 43 more were wounded in his attack.
The Intermediate People's Court of Hengyang confirmed that Yang was handed an execution sentence for threatening public security with dangerous methods, and deprived of his political rights for ever.
