January 18, 2026 - IRAN. 13 men executed on January 18, and 4 on January 17
Based on information received by HRANA, at dawn on January 18:
- Yazdan Mardanpour was executed in Kermanshah Prison on murder charges;
- Fereydoun Goodarzi was executed in Aligudarz Prison on murder charges;
- Pouya Najafi was executed in Dezful Prison on murder charges;
- Bijan Shahrokhi was executed in Khorramabad Prison on murder charges;
- Akbar Ganji was executed in Nahavand Prison on murder charges;
- Ali Asghar Shahi was executed in Yasuj Prison on murder charges;
- Shiroodeh Maqsoodi was executed in Borujerd Prison on murder charges.
- Asad Salahshour was executed in Semnan Prison on drug charges,
- Eshagh Niazi was executed in Arak Prison was executed on drug charges,
- Sousha Abdi was executed in Hamedan Prison was executed on drug charges.
- Abdolhassan Yari was executed in the Central Prison of Karaj on charges of moharebeh through armed robbery.
- Mostafa Kooshki and an unidentified prisoner were executed in Qom Prison, both on charges of moharebeh through armed robbery
At dawn on January 17:
- Aboutaleb Gholami was executed in Tabriz Prison on murder charges,
- Yarmorad Bakhshi was executed in Ardabil Prison on murder charges,
- Malek Kavehei was executed in Bandar Abbas Prison on drug-related charges
- Afshin Akhbari was executed in Qazvin Prison on drug-related charges.
Further details, including the identification of one of the prisoners, are still under investigation by HRANA.
As of the time of this report, these executions have not been officially announced by authorities.
