January 22, 2026 - IRAN. 14 men executed from January 19 to 22

Based on information received by HRANA, 14 prisoners were executed from January 19 to 22:

- Iman Zamani was executed On January 19 in Quchan Prison on drug charges,

- Rastin Noorian was executed on January 20 in Behbahan Prison on a charge of murder,

- Farshid Darabi was executed on January 20 in Sari Prison on murder charges,

- Changiz Ghafoori was executed on January 20 in Bukan Prison on murder charges,

- Amirali Haghighat-Doost was hanged on January 20 in Gonabad Prison on drug charges,

- Houshang Maleki was executed on January 21 in Ferdows Prison on murder charges,

- Touraj Rashidi was executed on January 21 in Esfarayen Prisonon on murder charges,

- Shaho Safari was executed on January 21 in Sanandaj Prison on murder charges,

- Jalal Papi was executed on January 21 in Nowshahr Prison on murder charges,

- Ashkan Kalehri, was executed on January 21 in Rasht Prison on murder charges,

- An unidentified man was executed on January 21 in Rasht Prison on murder charges,

- Momen Abdi-Pour was executed executed on January 21 in Mahshahr Prison on a charge of murder.

- Abdullah Panjshiri, an Afghan national, was executed on January 22 in Taybad Prison on charges related to drug offenses.

- Nariman Sohrabi was executed on January 22 in Bojnord Prison on a murder charge.

Further details, including the identity of one of the prisoners executed in Rasht Prison, are still under investigation by HRANA.

As of the time of this report, these executions have not been officially announced by authorities.
