October 17, 2024 - IRAN. 2 more men executed in Isfahan on October 17
Mohammadreza Mahjour (Mahjoor) and Mohammad Ashoori (Ashouri)
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Isfahan (Dastgerd) Central Prison on 17 October. His identity has been established as Mohammadreza Mahjour who was sentenced for murder. According to information obtained by IHRS, Mohammad Ashoori, 32, from Maranjan village in Noorabad Mamasani, was arrested 6 years ago on murder charges.
IHR previously reported the execution of Abbas Karimi and Mohammad Ali Najafi.
At the time of writing, these executions has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
