May 12, 2025 - IRAN. 3 men executed in Arak on May 12

Mohammad Abdi, Nemat Pirizali and Jalil Azizi.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, three men were hanged in Arak Central Prison on 12 May 2025. Their identities have been established as Mohammad Abdi (top photo), a Lor man from Arak, Nemat Pirizali (bottom photo) from Delfan, and Jalil Azizi from Arak.

They were all sentenced to death on drug-related charges in separate cases.

At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
