January 3, 2026 - IRAN. 3 men executed in Shiraz on January 3
Khalil Rahmani, Fahim Rasoulzadeh, Asghar Shahi
The death sentences of three persons, Khalil Rahmani, Fahim Rasoulzadeh, and Asghar Shahi, have been carried out at Shiraz Central Prison (Adel Abad) at dawn on January 3, 2026.
-Rahmani, 30, was from Hamadan; Rasoulzadeh, 26, from Kazerun; and Shahi, 28, from Isfahan.
-Shahi had been detained for around two years on charges of rape.
-Rahmani had been imprisoned for approximately three years on charges of armed robbery, while Rasoulzadeh had been held for about two years on similar charges.
The executions of these men have not been announced by state-run media.
