December 3, 2024 - IRAN. 3 men executed in Tabriz on December 3
Khalil Hassanzadeh, Abdullah Panah, Rasoul Ebrahimi.
According to reports received by Hengaw, 3 executions took place in Tabriz Central Prison on December 3, 2024. Khalil Hassanzadeh (33) and Abdullah Panahi (62), both convicted of murder, were executed along with Rasoul Ebrahimi, who was convicted on “drug-related offenses.” Mr. Hassanzadeh had been in detention for four years, Mr. Panahi for six years, and Mr. Ebrahimi for approximately three years before their executions.
As of the time of this report, state media have not announced these executions.
