June 17, 2026 - IRAN. 3 men executed in Yazd on June 17

Reza Nazif, Noor Jalal Mojahed, Esfandiar Sadri

According to information received by Hengaw, the executions of Reza Nazif, a 28-year-old from Ardakan, Noor Jalal Mojahed, a 27-year-old Afghan national from Qala-e-Naw District in Afghanistan, and Esfandiar Sadri, 50, were carried out in the early hours of June 17, 2026, at Yazd Central Prison.

Nazif and Mojahed had been arrested in separate cases two years earlier on charges related to drug-related offenses. Sadri had been arrested six years ago on charges of murder.

Other sources, including HoC, had previously reported the execution of ‘six unidentified men’ in Yazd on 17 June. It is likely that the three men identified today are among the six ‘unidentified’ men.

The executions have not been announced by Iranian state media.
