4 inmates executed at Meshkin Shahr Prison on January 11.
According to irannewsupdate.com, on January 11 authorities executed at least four prisoners at Meshkin Shahr Prison (also Meshgin Shahr) in Ardabil province.
A source familiar with the issue reported that the name of two executed prisoners was Karbalaei Mehdi Feizi and Moharram Fathi.
“The authorities have accused them of murder” the source said, adding, “These prisoners had been held in prison for more than 11 years.”
Hands off Cain notes that the names of these 2 inmates closely resemble "Mehdi Feyzi and Moharam Feyzi" who, according to an IHR news report that NtC reported in recent days, would have been executed on January 13 in the Central Prison of Ardabil, with the charge of murder.
There is no information about the names and details of the other two executed inmates.
