January 13, 2026 - IRAN. 4 men executed on January 13

Mostafa Hemmati, Abbas Sharifi, Seyed Mohammad Attari, Moharram Sarchami

According to information obtained by Hengaw, on January 13, 2026:

• Mostafa Hemmati, 47, a Gilak man from Langarud, was executed at Sari Central Prison on drug-related charges
• Abbas Sharifi, 42, a Gilak man from Sari, was executed at Sari Central Prison on drug-related charges
• Seyed Mohammad Attari, 37, was put to death in Tabriz Central Prison on murder charges
• Moharram Sarchami, 59, a father of four, was put to death in Tabriz Central Prison on murder charges for the killing of his brother-in-law

As of the time of this report, the executions of these prisoners have not been officially announced by authorities.
