May 21, 2025 - IRAN. 5 men executed in Yazd on May 21
Mohammadreza Dehghan Dehnouri, Javad Rezaei, Noorveis Achak Zehi (Nourweis Achkizahi or Echkizehi), Vali Shahrbabaki, Reza Beig (Beigi).

According to information obtained by Hengaw, the executions of Achak Zehi, a Baloch prisoner from Kerman Province, along with Dehghan Dehnouri, Javad Rezaei, Shahrbabaki, and Beig, were carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in Yazd Central Prison.
Sources familiar with the cases reported that Dehghan Dehnouri, Rezaei, Achak Zehi, and Shahrbabaki had been sentenced to death on charges of murder, while Beig was convicted of drug-related crimes. The prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement on May 19, 2025, in preparation for the implementation of their sentences.

No official announcement regarding these executions has been made by state media.
