April 17, 2025 - IRAN. Ahmad Yavari Hanged in Gorgan on April 17

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Gorgan Central Prison on 17 April 2025. His identity has been established as 40-year-old Ahmad Yavari, from Gorgan, who was a father to two boys. He was arrested for murder two years ago.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media inside Iran.
