Akbar Sheikh Panahi executed in Isfahan on January 18, 2023.
On January 18, 2023, the death sentence of a prisoner was executed in Isfahan Central Prison. The name of this prisoner was Akbar Sheikh Panahi, who was executed on charges related to drugs. He was arrested for this charge several years ago and was imprisoned in Isfahan Central Prison.
According to Hengaw website, Akbar Sheikh Panahi along with two other prisoners (whom execution we already reported, Nima Vahidi and Omid Karimi) were taken for execution on the same day and executed in Isfahan Central Prison.
The execution of these prisoners has not been published in any of the government websites and authorities.
