May 26, 2025 - IRAN. Ali Akbar Mirzaei (Mirzayi) and Sanjar Nawabi executed in Kerman on May 26

On the morning of May 26, 2025, Sanjar Nawabi and Ali Akbar Mirzaei were executed in Kerman (Shahab) Central Prison.

Ali Akbar Mirzaei was arrested 7 years ago on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. Sanjar Nawabi was also charged with drug-related offenses.
