June 17, 2026 - IRAN. Ali Aqahasani (Ali Agha Hosseini) executed in Maragheh on June 17
Information received by Hengaw shows that Ali Aqahasani, a 38-year-old Turkish prisoner from Abhar in Zanjan Province, was executed in the early hours of June 17, 2026, at Maragheh Central Prison.
Aqahasani was married and the father of one child. He had been arrested two years earlier on a charge of murder.
The execution has not been announced by Iranian state media.
