(March 1, 2023) - Ali Doudkanlu (Doudkanlou) executed in Urmia on March 1
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Urmia Central Prison on March 1. His identity has been established as Ali Doudkanlu, from Salmas. He was sentenced for murder.
Ali was transferred for execution along with two other prisoners named Jalal Taheri and Ramin Shirzadi who were returned to their cells after obtaining extensions in their respective cases.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
