February 7, 2026 - IRAN. Ali Mirdar executed in Gorgan on February 7

A man was hanged at the prison on 7 February. He has been identified as 32-year-old Ali Mirdar (photo) from Gonbad Kavous. He was arrested around three years ago and also sentenced for murder.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
