September 16, 2024 - IRAN. Alimorad Hassanzadeh executed in Gorgan on September 16
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Gorgan Central Prison on 16 September. His identity has been established as 33-year-old Alimorad Hassanzadeh.
Alimorad was arrested for drug-related offences two years ago.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
