March 1, 2025 - IRAN. Alireza Ahmadpour executed in Qazvin on March 1
According to a report Hengaw received on April 27, Alireza Ahmadpour, a 45-year-old Gilak man from Rasht, was executed at dawn on March 1, 2025. He had been arrested on charges related to drug crimes. As of the time of this report, news of this prisoner's execution has not been announced by state media.
