November 25, 2024 - IRAN. Alireza Nourian executed in Mashhad on November 25
According to reports received by Hengaw, on the morning of November 25, 2024, Alireza Nourian, a 42-year-old Kurdish man from Esfarayen, was hanged in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. Nourian had been in custody for three years after being convicted on drug-related charges. As of the time of this report, news of this execution has not been announced by state-run media outlets.
