February 27, 2025 - IRAN. Amir Jafarpanah executed in Karaj (Ghezel Hesar) on February 27
According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on February 27, 2025, the death sentence of Amir Jafarpanah, a 40-year-old Kurdish man from Bijar, was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
According to IHR, the execution of Jafarpanah took place on the 26th.
A source close to the Jafarpanah family stated that the prisoner had been arrested five years ago on charges of murdering his maternal aunt and her husband.
As of the time of this report, news of his execution has not been announced by state media.
