May 4, 2025 - IRAN. Ammar Validi executed in Ahvaz on May 4

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Ahvaz Sepidar Prison on 4 May 2025. His identity has been established as 30-year-old Ammar Validi, from Ahvaz.

He was arrested on the Ahvaz to Dezeful road for carrying drugs in his car three years ago.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media inside Iran.
