May 18, 2025 - IRAN. Armin Bahrami executed in Karaj on May 18

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Karaj Penitentiary (Central Prison) on 18 May 2025. His identity has been established as Armin Bahrami who was arrested five years ago for a murder he was alleged to have committed with a knife.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
