August 25, 2025 - IRAN. Asad Shabani executed in Nishapur on August 25

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution of Shabani, 28, was carried out at dawn on August 25, 2025, in Nishapur Central Prison. He had been arrested five years earlier on charges of murder during a street fight. State media have not reported the execution.
