May 27, 2025 - IRAN. Aziz Sedaghat executed in Rasht on May 27.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged Rasht (Lakan) Central Prison on 27 May 2025. His identity has been established as Aziz Ssedaghat, a 40-year-old man from Gorgan. He was arrested three years ago on drug-related charges.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
