February 16, 2025 - IRAN. Bahram Almasi executed in Tabriz on February 16
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Tabriz Central Prison on 16 February 2025. His identity has been established as 39-year-old Bahram Almasi, from Tabriz. A source told IHR: “Bahram Almasi was arrested for murder during a fight nine years ago. He was transferred for execution on two previous occasions but was returned to his cell after obtaining an extension.” At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
