January 1, 2025 - IRAN. Behrouz Mehrani executed in Gorgan on January 1
According to a report received by Hengaw, the death sentence of Behrouz Mehrani, a 36-year-old Gilak prisoner was carried out in Gorgan Central Prison at dawn on January 1, 2025, in Gorgan Central Prison.
Mehrani had been arrested four years ago on charges related to drug offenses. As of the time of this report, the execution has not been announced in state-affiliated media.
