July 21, 2024 - IRAN. Daniyal Kazeminejad executed in Kermanshah on July 21
According to the report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Sunday, July 21, 2023, the death sentence of Daniyal Kazeminejad, a 30-year-old Kurdish prisoner from Islamabad-e-Gharb, was secretly carried out in Kermanshah Central Prison (Dizel Abad) without prior notification to his family or the opportunity for a final meeting.
In July 2023, Daniyal Kazeminejad was arrested by Iranian security forces in Khoy City and subsequently transferred to Dizel Abad Prison. He was later sentenced to death by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Kermanshah on charges of murdering Sajjad Amiri, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Sajjad Amiri, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who had also served in Syria, was killed in Kermanshah on June 11, 2023. At the time, Iranian security institutions referred to Sajjad Amiri as a "martyr of defending security," stating that he was killed during a security mission.
It should be mentioned that Daniyal Kazeminejad was from the Lor village of Islamabad-e-Gharb, and last year IRGC forces invaded this village and there was a violent conflict. at that time Hengaw announced the summoning and arrest of nearly 160 people of this village.
So far, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in the Iranian state media.
