July 18, 2024 - IRAN. Edris Jamshidzahi executed in Zahedan on July 18
At dawn on Thursday, July 18, the execution of a Baloch prisoner named Edris Jamshidzahi was carried out in Zahedan Prison, as reported by Haal Vsh.
According to this report, Mr. Jamshidzahi was arrested in 2017 on the charge of killing a Basij agent named Seyed Abdolkarim Sajjadi in Iranshahr, Sistan and Baluchestan province, and was later sentenced to death by the Zahedan Criminal Court.
The report states that Edris Jamshidzahi approximately 45 years old, father of five children, and a resident of Tigh Ap village in the Iranshahr area, had his final meeting with his family yesterday.
