November 26, 2024 - IRAN. Ehsan Basati Valiabad executed in Karaj (Central) on November 26
According to reports received by Hengaw, on the morning November 26, 2024, in Karaj Central Prison the death sentence of Ehsan Basati Valiabad, 31-year-old man from Kuhdasht, was carried out. He had been arrested four years ago on drug-related charges. Basati was transferred to solitary confinement on Sunday, November 24, 2024, ahead of his execution. As of the time of this report, news of this execution has not been announced by state-run media outlets.
