June 3, 2025 - IRAN. Gholi Faramarzi (Qoli Faramarzi, Gholli Faramarzi) executed in Tabriz on June 3.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Tabriz Central Prison on 3 June 2025. His identity has been established as Gholi Faramarzi, 50, from Urmia. He was arrested five years ago on drug-related charges. At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
