August 8, 2025 - IRAN. Hashem Sorkh and Rahman Jahangiri executed in Yazd on August 8
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on August 8, 2025, the executions of Hashem Sorkhi, 42, father of two, and Rahman Jahangiri, 45, father of three, were carried out in Yazd Central Prison. Both men had been arrested three years earlier in a joint case for drug-related offences.
The executions have not been announced by state media.
