August 6, 2025 - IRAN. Hassan-Ali Zinizadeh executed in Tabriz on August 6
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on August 6, 2025, the execution of a Turkish prisoner, Hassan-Ali Zinizadeh, 43, from Tabriz, was carried out in Tabriz Central Prison. According to the Iran Human Rights Organization, he had been arrested four years earlier for drug-related offences.
The execution has not been announced by state media.
