August 6, 2025 - IRAN. Hassan Shahverdi executed in Borujerd on August 6
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on August 6, 2025, the execution of Hassan Shahverdi, 57, was carried out in Borujerd Central Prison in Lorestan Province. He had been arrested four years earlier for drug-related offences.
The execution has not been announced by state media.
