Hossein Mohammadi executed in Zanjan Prison on July 18. At least 174 executions since the beginning of the year in Iran. According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Zanjan Central Prison on the morning of July 18. His identity has been established Hossein Mohammadi, belonging to the Sufi minority, who had been sentenced to qisas on murder charges. Informed sources told IHR that Sufi Hossein Mohammadi had been detained on the murder charge around nine years ago. At the time of writing, this execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
