April 30, 2025 - IRAN. Houshang Abbasi executed in Tabriz on April 30
According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on April 30, 2025, 31-year-old Houshang Abbasi, a Turk prisoner native of Tabriz, was executed in the city’s central prison.
The prisoner had been arrested four years ago on drug-related charges.
As of the time of this report, news of his execution has not been reported by state media.
