November 26, 2024 - IRAN. Jahangir (Moslem) Rahimi executed in Saqqez on November 26
On November 26, 2024, the execution of Jahangir Rahimi, a Kurdish prisoner from Saqqez, was carried out in Saqqez Central Prison. Rahimi had been convicted of the murder of a man named Mullah Salahaddin two years ago. Sources report that Rahimi was transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for his execution on November 24, 2024. As of the time of this report, news of this execution has not been announced by state-run media outlets.
